If you are preparing for a stay at our drug rehab facility, it’s important to know what items are appropriate to bring. Here is a quick list outlining what to bring for your stay with us.
Patients should avoid bringing any items that may be harmful to themselves or others in a residential treatment program, or that may disrupt the therapeutic environment. This includes illegal drugs, alcohol, weapons, pornographic materials, and any electronics that can access the internet or make phone calls. Additionally, items that may be triggers for substance use or that could distract from recovery efforts, such as excess cash or valuable jewelry, should be left at home.
Upon arrival at The Recovery Team facility, you’ll check in your bags and complete the necessary paperwork. A staff member will then review your belongings to ensure that you have only brought appropriate items for your treatment. Any items that are deemed inappropriate will be either sent home with a family member or stored until your discharge if no family is present at the time of your arrival.
We are excited to welcome you to the new life you deserve. If you have any questions about our drug and alcohol rehab treatment center, please don’t hesitate to call The Recovery Team in Florida at (800) 817-1247. Our counselors are always available to assist you with the admissions process.
